30 Years Framed: Opening Reception

  • Coastal Discovery Museum 70 Honey Horn Drive Hilton Head Island, SC, 29926 United States (map)

Join us for an opening reception celebrating the debut of 30 Years Framed: Posters of Our Past, a special anniversary exhibition honoring the Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration.

This evening marks the first public unveiling of a curated retrospective featuring 30 iconic festival posters—each one a vivid reflection of the art, history, and cultural storytelling that have shaped our community over the past three decades. Presented together for the first time, the collection offers a powerful look back at the design, memory, and legacy of the Celebration.

Guests are invited to enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres while exploring the exhibition. Select posters will be available for purchase, offering a rare opportunity to take home a meaningful piece of the Festival’s history and support the ongoing legacy of the Gullah Celebration
