  • Coastal Discovery Museum 70 Honey Horn Drive Hilton Head Island, SC, 29926 United States (map)

Step into three decades of cultural storytelling with 30 Years Framed: Posters of Our Past, a special anniversary Opening Reception with our featured artists. You won’t want to miss this exhibition honoring the Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration and the incredible works of art on display showcasing three decades. This curated display brings together 30 iconic festival posters—each one a vibrant reflection of the art, history, and heritage that have shaped our community since the Celebration’s beginning.

For the first time, this complete collection will be presented as a retrospective of design, memory, and legacy—offering a nostalgic journey through the evolution of the Gullah Celebration. Select posters will be available for purchase, giving guests a rare opportunity to take home a piece of the Festival’s history.

Join us as we commemorate 30 years of honoring Gullah culture through art, design, and storytelling.
